The new policy comes on the heels of a recent survey showing that an overwhelming majority of Filipinos have a favorable view of the United States. The Philippines ranked first in a global survey on the image of the United States worldwide, beating even the U.S. itself when it comes to a favorable view on the American people.
According to the 2013 Global Attitudes Project of the Pew Research Center in Washington DC, the Philippines got an 85 percent score, the highest, when people were asked “Do you have a favorable or unfavorable view of the US?”

our first stop for the day is Gwanghwamun Square it’s where you’ll find the statue of Admiral Yi Shun Shin and King Sejong. We walked around the square taking pictures anywhere we wanted to pose for us to have some souvenir that we’ve been there. While taking pictures we’ve noticed that there’s something behind King Sejong’s statue…. since there were some who’s going down.. and yeah! really I was surprised I didn’t know that there’s a museum underground! 🙂 Since it’s free and good too to know a little of King Sejong and Admiral Yi Shun Shins life so we decided to go.
we only have a limited time so we haven’t read all the stories…. Anyways, wanted to thank King Sejong for making it easy for us to learn Korean Alphabets!
us roaming around the square!
off to see the museum!
The Turtle Ship….
let’s go to our next stop…. Changdeokgung Palace…. were “Secret Garden” is located, which i have a little regret for not visiting it! If you’re planning to go be sure to include Secret Garden.
off to see one of Korea’s Mall… just wanted to witness what Korea Malls look like! 🙂 (gonna post pictures later since needed to check first wer my pictures inside COEX Mall) Visited Samsung Store not to buy any samsung mobile but to compare how much Note 1 / Note 2 with Dubai price… next, we went to a CD/DVD store since it was the comeback of SHINee so expect to see a corner with lots of SHINee albums. We didn’t buy even 1 CD since on our first day in Korea we almost finished our pocket-money in Myeongdong ‘coz of the so-called KPOP CDs! in here we just wanted to experience strolling around COEX Mall.
Now on our way to Gangnam….
you’ll we see this Gangnam Style small stage exactly after going out from the train station though was not too sure which Exit we took 😛 miaann! we went to a small pharmacy nearby to buy medicine for my friend since she was not feeling well that time… maybe she’s a little exhausted with that day…. I understand… with all those walking and I think we didn’t even have an on time decent meal during that 3 days in SK. after Gangnam we’re suppose to visit Ehwa University but skip it ‘coz of we needed to go back to our hostel fix our things and travel to Busan using KTX Train.
Before heading back to our hostel we eat first Jokbal! we usually see this in Kdramas… jokbal is a korean dish consisting of pig’s feet cooked with soy sauce. A decent meal indeed before traveling to Busan, I think it was a well-known restaurant ‘coz we waited for i think 30 mins.? 🙂 anyways, the wait is worth it… jokbal there really taste good… now off to our hostel fix and get our things and catch the last trip to Busan…. good thing the landlord of the hostel is so nice he let us leave our things for a couple of days.
i think we spent 6 hours in the train… yeah! i felt it now…. i was too tired and really exhausted. I was not too sure how I manage to sleep in that situation lol! 🙂 Anyhow, we reached busan as early as 5am, we went directly to a washroom to splash a little our face with water…. now looking for some place inside Busan station were we can lean our back while waiting (Tour Buses will be available around 9am). we spent only 1 day in Busan and these are what we did within that day!
after our city tour we needed to find the train station… since we cannot find the entrance of the train station so, we decided to hail a cab to bring us to the airport. We are almost late now for our flight to Jeju! but THANK GOD we made it! just arrived on time! we are worried since bus/flight timings of Korea are strictly followed!
Anyhow, we still have a lot of things/places we missed to visit in Busan and Seoul hope this would be our strong reason to come back!
I’m back!!! hahaha been out of the blue for a while and don’t know exactly what’s the main reason why I don’t have a decent blog for a month now! (do I really have a decent blog anyway since then?) hehehe
Anyways, I’m just welcoming myself back… and to that! I wanted to start a blog for my ADPi BHS Team. Maybe you’re wondering… to make it short just left ADPi last March 8, 2014.
I missed and will always miss this TEAM!
Thank you all for the memories… to all my Engineers for the support and especially to my BHS boss and PLB boss for the guidance and support I’ve learned a lot. Sorry for not staying a little longer or wait for the project to finish, needed to explore more. 🙂
and to my partner….
hope everything’s fine… 🙂 sorry for leaving you with things/…. tsk tsk no need for me to mention for both of us know what are those… don’t ever resent me for doing it… hehehe we’re still seeing each other once in a while I’m just a phone call away!
